Forget long-haul flights to far away destinations. The South Pacific islands are a favourite tropical get away for many travellers and it’s only a few hours from your door to your private island villa.

Located on Devils Point Road, Port Vila on the island of Efate, Mele Magic is ten minutes from the International Airport and 20 minutes from the city centre of Port Vila, Vanuatu’s capital.

Mele Magic’s perfect location gives you the luxury of being close to business and finance centre’s while enjoying secluded and private island holiday accommodation.

Flight Information
The South Pacific islands are within easy flight distance from Australia and New Zealand. Flights to Port Vila, Vanuatu leave from Sydney and Brisbane several times a week. The direct flight from Sydney takes around 4 hours, while the flight from Brisbane is a little less at 3 hours flying time. Flights also depart from major cities in New Zealand several times a week.

Getting Around
Upon your arrival at Bauerfield International Airport, Port Vila, they’ll be plenty of taxis available to take you to the island villa.

You can also arrange to hire a car from several of the Car Rental companies located in the main Terminal. Please note, driving in Vanuatu is on the right hand side of the road.

Directions to Mele Magic

1. Starting from the airport, stay on the bitumen road for 0.4km as the road veers to the right.
2. At 1.4km you’ll come to a round-about; go straight ahead for the next 3.3km.
3. You’ll cross over a bridge and pass by a golf course and cross another bridge at 5.6km
4. The Hideaway turn off, on your left, is at 6.0km. Keep on the bitumen road as it veers right.
5. 1km on you will reach Mele village. Please take care and drive slowly, watch out for children and pigs on the road!
6. At 6.5km you’ll cross over Mele Creek and pass by the cemetery on your left.
7. Turn left onto a gravel road at the 7 km mark, the ocean will be on your left. You should see signs for the Benjor resort and the Sea Horse Ranch.
8. Pass by the Island Magic Resort on your left at 8.9km
9. 9.1km Welcome to South Pacific luxury! Your have arrived at Mele Magic. Proceed to the gate entrance on your left and our friendly on-site care taker will help you get settled.
